We started our roadtrip through the southwest by following a recommendation of my brothers to do a raft trip on the Yampa River. It was an excellent recommendation, and we had a fantastic time. The trip lasted for 5 days, with lots of river time, and fantastic hikes at camp or lunch. ARTA is definitely the best, they are the only ones to use inflatable duckies, have excellent food and guides, and are nonprofit, with proceeds going to conservation groups, especially ones helping rivers they run.
